OUR CONCEPT
REDUCE
FabWrap’s are made from 100% upcycled materials. Most fabric types can be upcycled into Furoshiki, which reduces textile waste in landfills.
When people switch gifting methods using paper wrapping, tapes and ribbon to Furoshiki, it will reduce much of the paper wrapping waste from landfills.
REUSE
Furoshiki can be used for many purposes for people's needs and wants. This reusable Furoshiki is used in the long term to transform gifting, daily goods, outdoor equipment, or emergency items. It can be washed, ironed, patchwork, and can be used again and again!
RECYCLE
Furoshiki is a square sheet of fabric. There are plenty of ways to use it. It can be used for quilting, tablecloths, planters and more! Recycling upcycled Fabwraps is not hard because of the square of a sheet fabric, and it is easy to start creating things again from scratch with your desired shapes!

Fabwrap is a small business located in Christchurch. We believe the new Furoshiki culture will help make our lives more happy and enjoyable as well as look after the environment. Your textile donations will help Fabwrap's operation by promoting, visiting and educating more people, schools and communities for use in workshops.
If you visit Fabwrap's stall in a local market, please bring your used fabrics, clothes or bedsheets and pass them on to us! Your pre-loved textile will be reborn as value-added Furoshiki (click here for more about this) and we will pass it on to someone else.
