Christmas VS Paper Rubbish
Christmas is on the way! But, how many people truly enjoy Christmas?
I believe that some people are aware of the bad influence of paper wrapping.
How many people feel that same feeling that I feel?
Imagine, Christmas is one enjoyable season gathering friends and family. We have surroundings with many delicious foods, lovely home decorations and presents. Such lovely moments of chatting and laughing and a little bit of drinking? What a fun day!
However, children or anyone (I believe all people) love to open presents. Such an exciting moment! And to the next AND the next!
After unwrapping the presents, you may feel like enjoying the many presents in your hands but what is waiting for you?
Piled up ripped paper wrapping... paper rubbish everywhere!!!
Is that only me? Feeling so awkward and sad to see that mess we created.
There are many sticky tapes, ribbons, and metal paper. We just want to clean up the mess so all rubbish goes to the red bin. Some of you just put it in a yellow bin? Unfortunately, most rubbish goes to the landfill except if you nicely remove any extra plastic coating that can be recycled.
How much rubbish we waste for even unexpected presents. Such a shame...
Can we do something better than this?
Let's start to collect all used-wrapping paper and keep them for the next year!
Or Use fabric gift wrapping!!!
Fabric wrapping can be used again and again!! You can use them for decorating your house, or as a shopping bag or to wrap someone else's presents so you can pass the fabric on to others! There are many different ways to use and if you'd like to know more, check out our blog soon!
Fabric wrapping can be fitted to any shape and size! Did you ever experienced wrapping the round shape items with paper wrapping?? Wine bottles, candles and vases?! and toddlers' favourite soft toys?!
When wrapping those items with paper, tape and ribbon are required to fold the shapes. However, fabric furoshiki wrapping does not need tape or other equipment to wrap the items. We only need a piece of fabric!!!
There are many different techniques to make your gift prettier!
